Dr. Dan Foster's family is among the best-known and most respected at the Lake of the Ozarks. Cedar Heights is being developed on land that has been in the Foster family since the 1950's. Foster, a dentist, has been involved in development and construction for 25 years. He has been a principal in projects including Cedar Glen, Park Place and Woodland Shores condominiums. Foster has served as a city alderman, a member of the state Board of Health and he volunteers his time to a number of service organizations. Foster and his wife, Nickie, live in Osage Beach.

Jeff Tillman, named one of the 500 top young businessmen in the country in 1990, has been in the subcontracting business in the lake area for 15 years. In addition to his involvement with Cedar Heights, Tillman also owns and operates Midstate Painting, Midstate Properties and Midstate Land and Development and has developed Ledges, Park Place, Cedar Glen and Clear Water condominiums at Lake of the Ozarks.
